He is "1"....

Well it is hard to believe but it's true Braidon turned 1 on Monday. It is amazing how fast the year has gone by. Which also means that we have lived here for a year as well which seems unreal. So here we are a year later and celebrating Braidons birthday. We had a small get together with some of my family, but we will be having a bigger get together this weekend when most of us can be together. It was a lot of fun to see his face all day as we would say something about it being his birthday and he would smile from ear to ear and get all excited.
We went simple and easy for the cake on Monday since we will be having another one, so i made cupcakes which is perfect for him to grab and eat. It was a fun evening sharing it with those that were here and watching him get so excited over everything. Time sure does fly and it is fun to see how the kids change in just a years time period. Enjoy the pictures of our little party....I think that picture says it all.................

Braidon's first hair cut

We decided since we were going to be going to the funeral that we needed to do some hair cuts. So Braidon got his first hair cut almost a year after he was born. It was a lot of fun, Dusty was holding him for me while i cut his hair, so we handed Brysan the camera and asked her to take some pictures for us. She did a great job of getting the pictures.... "What are you trying to do to me Mom???"

Final out come. Not to bad for a 11 month old who didn't want to sit still.

Our bang of a new year...

Life has been crazy for us since the beginning of the new year. On New's Day we found out that Dusty's brother passed away. After a long struggle with cancer it was time for him to go back home. It is a very big blessing for Arlon because we know he is not suffering any more, but we will all miss him so very much. The knowledge we have of the plan of salvation and that families are together forever is such a comfort. We were able to go to the funeral on Friday and it was such an amazing sight to see all the friends and family that came to pay tribute to an very honest and fun loving person. We love you and will miss you Arlon.

Our Christmas fun.....

It's been crazy around our house for the past month. Most everything was good but not all. We had a wonderful Christmas. This year for Christmas we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Dusty's parents in Twin Falls. It was a lot of fun, very relaxing. On Christmas Eve the kids get new PJ's to wear that night, I thought this years PJ's were so cute..

The kids enjoyed their gifts and Santa found us so they were even more thrilled. We were able to see Dusty's brother and some of his family and his Grandma. On the 26th we headed back to my parents house, well actually my Grandpas. It was a blast, all of my siblings were in so we decided that we needed to have a sleep over at Grandpa's. We haven't done this for several years so it was taking us back in time. There were air mattresses and bodies everywhere. There were 15 of us. I couldn't go to bed with out taking pictures of the madness.....

Here is the living room where 6 of us slept.

my 2 sisters slept around the table

Here is Spencer asleep on the floor

Brysan asleep on the floor on the other side of the bed.

Here is my Uncle, this is the bed that Brysan and Spencer are sleeping around.

Here is my Dad.

This is my Aunt and Grandpa showing off their new PJ's.

We had a great time with both of our families, we enjoyed spending time with them all and creating new memories. It was a lot of fun spending the night at Grandpa's.
